''Hello Mrs. Cherrywinkle'' is a Canadian children's television program that aired from February 3, 1997 to March 26, 1999 on the Family Channel. It centered on the adventures of the title character, Mrs. Cherrywinkle (portrayed by Kathy "Babe" Robinson, of Philadelphia, PA), a stout woman full of energy who interacted with a variety of puppets in her home and garden. The puppets used in the show were created by Noreen Young & Matt Ficner. Songs for the series were written by Randy Vancourt and Tim Burns. Annabel Slaight
Annabel Slaight (''nee'' Gerald) is a Canadian author and former elementary school teacher. She is the co-founder of OWL, Chickadee, and Chirp magazines and a former producer of OWL/TV. Early life and education Slaight was born and raised in Toronto but enrolled at the Crofton House School in British Columbia for her high school education. She struggled throughout her schooling and eventually dropped out of the University of British Columbia. Career After dropping out, Slaight spent four years as a teacher before moving to Toronto to start a career in journalism. She then spent 10 years editing books and magazines before meeting Mary Anne Brinckman, a volunteer for the Federation of Ontario Naturalists (FON). Together, they established a non-profit entitled Young Naturalist Foundation (YNF) and persuaded the FON to support their children's magazine, OWL. American Public Television (APT) is an American nonprofit organization and syndicator of programming for public television stations in the United States. Nina Keogh
Nina Keogh ( ) is a Canadian puppet builder, voice actress and puppeteer. She is a former member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Canadian Actors' Equity Association, UDA, and is an ACTRA member since 1968. She was on the board of directors for ACTRA and the Children's Broadcast Institute. She has worked for TVO and CBC Television. She is best-known for playing the role of Muffy the Mouse in TVO's 1981-87 TV series ''Today's Special'', which was shown worldwide including on Nickelodeon in the United States. Her father, John Keogh, played Howard the Turtle in ''Razzle Dazzle''. Keogh retired from the television business in 1999 to become a professional painter.
