''Hello, It's Me!'' ( hy, Բարև, ես եմ; translit. Barev, yes em) is a 1966 Armenian drama film directed by Frunze Dovlatyan. It was entered into the 1966 Cannes Film Festival, nominated to Palme d'Or and awarded by the ''State Prize of Armenia'' in 1967. The film is based on Artem Alikhanian's biography.Alikhanian. ''Sketches, memoirs, documents'', ed. M. Daion, Moscow, 2000 Plot Artyom Manvelyan is a famous physicist and founder of a cosmology laboratory in Aragats. Frunze Dovlatyan
Frunze Vaghinaki Dovlatyan ( hy, Ֆրունզե Վաղինակի Դովլաթյան; May 26, 1927 in Gavar – August 30, 1997 in Yerevan) was an Armenian film director and actor. People's Artist of USSR (1983). Biography Frunze Dovlatyan was born in Gavar, Soviet Armenia. He was a theater actor before becoming a director. One of the leading Armenian directors, Frunze Dovlatyan has started as actor in Armenian provincial theatres since 1941 and then in Gabriel Sundukian Drama Theatre of Yerevan, where he was awarded Stalin Prize (major award of that time) for the role of ''Hrair'' in the play "These Stars are Ours", Russian version "Эти Звезды Наши". Armenfilm (russian: Арменфильм; hy, Արմենֆիլմ), also known as Hayfilm ( hy, Հայֆիլմ), is an Armenian film studio located in Yerevan. The studio was founded on 16 April 1923 as a production unit of the Soviet State Cinema Organization, with Daniel Dznuni as the first director. Armenfilm was sold by the state to private investors in 2005 with a long list of conditions to revitalize the studio's equipment and produce new content. It was renamed as CS Film Studios but failed to produce the required new feature films. In 2015, the Government of Armenia decided that the new management had failed to satisfy the conditions of the sale and moved to reclaim the studio's assets.
