''Chicago Cab'' is a 1997 American drama film directed by Mary Cybulski and John Tintori. It is based on the play ''Hellcab'' by Will Kern. Synopsis The film follows an unnamed taxi driver (played by Paul Dillon) over one day in Chicago, shortly before Christmas. More than 30 passengers enter his taxi throughout the course of the film, providing brief looks into their personal lives. Among the actors giving cameo appearances are Gillian Anderson, John Cusack, Laurie Metcalf, Julianne Moore, John C. Reilly, Michael Shannon, Michael Ironside, and Reggie Hayes. Release and reception ''Chicago Cab'' had its premiere at the Chicago International Film Festival in October 1997, where it was nominated for a Golden Hugo Award. It was not released in movie theatres until September 18, 1998, when it played in two venues and earned $23,946. Reggie Hayes
Reginald C. Hayes (born July 15, 1969) is an American actor, screenwriter, and director. He is best known for his role as William Dent on the UPN/ CW show '' Girlfriends''. Early life Hayes was born on July 15, 1969 in Chicago, Illinoisyoungest of four children. He attended St. John's Northwestern Military Academy, who recognized him as one of three "Notable Men of the Academy". After the Academy, he attended Illinois State University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Theater. In 2004, he won the "Outstanding Young Alumni Award" and was a member of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Career Hayes is an avid supporter of his community and worked alongside his sister at various events for a charity titled the "Reginald and Frances Hayes H.O.P.E. Scholarship Award". Hubert Taczanowski
Hubert Taczanowski (born 1 October 1960, Poland) is a US and UK-based motion picture cinematographer. He is the son of Stanisław and Mirosława (née Sadżak) Taczanowski and a member of the former magnate family Taczanowski from Poznań A graduate of Cinematography at the famed Łódź Film School in Poland, Taczanowski has been the director of photography on nineteen feature films and two television series. His films have been screened at the Sundance, Venice, Toronto, Edinburgh and Berlin Film Festivals. Additionally, he has shot over twenty music videos for Sony Music, Atlantic Records, EMI and Chrysalis. In January 2007 he married British costume designer Stephanie Collie. Mary Cybulski
Mary Cybulski is an American script supervisor and film director, active since the 1980s. She was a script supervisor to the successful films ''Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'' (2004), ''Syriana'' (2005), ''Michael Clayton'' (2007), and ''Life of Pi'' (2012). She also co-directed and co-edited the 1997 film '' Chicago Cab'' with her husband John Tintori. Her son Ray Tintori is also in the film industry. Moira Jane Harris Sinise (born April 19, 1954) is a retired American actress. Biography Harris was born in Pontiac, Illinois and is a Roman Catholic convert.
