"Hell of a Night" is a song written by Zach Crowell, Adam Sanders, and Jaron Boyer and recorded by American country music artist Dustin Lynch. It was released in November 2014 as the second single from Lynch’s second studio album '' Where It's At''. "Hell of a Night" reached number one on the US ''Billboard'' Country Airplay chart, giving Lynch his second number-one hit on that chart. It also peaked at numbers seven and 55 on both the Hot Country Songs and ''Billboard'' Hot 100 charts respectively. The song was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and has sold 295,000 units as of September 2015. It also charted in Canada, peaking at number eight on the Canada Country chart and number 95 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart. Dustin Charles Lynch (born May 14, 1985) is an American country music singer and songwriter, signed to Broken Bow Records. Lynch has released four albums and one EP for the label: a self-titled album in 2012, '' Where It's At'' in 2014, '' Current Mood'' in 2017, ''Ridin' Roads'' in 2019, and '' Tullahoma'' in 2020. A fifth album, '' Blue in the Sky'', was released in February 2022. He has also released seventeen singles, of which eight have reached number one on Country Airplay. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by ''Billboard'' on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday.
