Hell In A Cell (2017)
The 2017 Hell in a Cell was the ninth annual Hell in a Cell professional wrestling pay-per-view and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's SmackDown brand division. The event took place on October 8, 2017, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Eight matches were contested at the event, including one on the Kickoff pre-show, and the main card featured two bouts in the titular match type. In the main event, Kevin Owens defeated Shane McMahon in the namesake match that also had the added stipulation of falls count anywhere. In the other Hell in a Cell match, which opened the show, The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) defeated The New Day (represented by Big E and Xavier Woods) to become record three-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Shane McMahon
Shane Brandon McMahon (; born January 15, 1970) is an American businessman and professional wrestler. He is best known for his tenure in WWE, where he was a wrestler, producer and minority owner. He is the founder and executive chairman of Ideanomics, formerly Seven Stars Cloud Group. The son of Vince McMahon, he is a fourth-generation wrestling promoter as a member of the McMahon family. Ronnie William Arneill (born February 19, 1981) is a Canadian professional wrestler and professional wrestling trainer currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name Shawn Spears, where he is a current member of The Pinnacle. Yuvraj Singh Dhesi (born July 19, 1986) is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand, under the ring name Jinder Mahal. Ettore Ewen (born March 1, 1986) is an American professional wrestler and former powerlifter. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Big E, but is currently inactive due to a broken neck.
