Heli Fire
is a video game developed by Nintendo, and released in arcades in September 1980 by Nintendo. Some sources claim that Ikegami Tsushinki also did design work on Heli Fire. Similar to the 1980 Taito title ''Polaris (video game), Polaris'', players control a submarine in which they must survive as long as possible against a barrage of enemy attacks from the sea and above. ''Heli Fire'' came in both Video game arcade cabinet#Upright cabinets, upright and Video game arcade cabinet#Cocktail or table cabinets, cocktail arcade cabinets. It featured color raster graphics utilizing a Sanyo 20-DZC monitor. The game could be played with one player or two players who alternate turns. commonly abbreviated as Nintendo R&D1, was Nintendo's oldest video game development team. It was known as before splitting in 1978. Its creation coincided with Nintendo's entry into the video game industry, and the original R&D1 was headed by Gunpei Yokoi. In video games, a level (also referred to as a map, stage, or round in some older games) is any space available to the player during the course of completion of an objective. Video game levels generally have progressively-increasing difficulty to appeal to players with different skill levels. Each level may present new concepts and challenges to keep a player's interest high. In games with linear progression, levels are areas of a larger world, such as Green Hill Zone.
