Helge Reiss
Helge Reiss (27 February 1928 – 11 November 2009) was a Norwegian actor. He was the son of the actor Thorleif Reiss. Career He began his career in 1948 with a minor role in a low budget crime film, and remained active until his death. He provided the Norwegian voice of main character Carl Fredricksen in the dubbed version of the movie '' Up'' months before his death. Reiss provided the voice for "Cogsworth" in Disney's 1991 animated film, ''Beauty and the Beast''. Despite playing in more than thirty films, he was mostly known for his role as "Professor Drøvel" on the first season of the series ''Brødrene Dal'' and reprised his role in a small cameo in the fourth series, 27 years later. Norwegians ( no, nordmenn) are a North Germanic ethnic group and nation native to Norway, where they form the vast majority of the population. Thorleif Reiss
Thorleif Dymling Reiss (May 22, 1898 – April 14, 1988) was a Norwegian actor. Career Reiss made his debut at the National Theater in Oslo in 1918. From 1931 to 1939, he was employed at the Carl Johan Theater, where he also served as co-director. From 1942 onward he was employed at the New Theater. Family Reiss was the son of the lawyer, composer, and musicologist Georg Reiss and Elisabeth Dymling (1861–1920). He was the brother of the pianist and cabaret performer Elisabeth Reiss and the father of the actor Helge Reiss. He played opposite his son in the 1970 crime comedy ''Skulle det dukke opp flere lik er det bare å ringe''. His first marriage was in 1920 to Esther Colbjørnsen Dahl (1896–1941). After her death, he remarried in 1944 to Gunborg Kristiane Skistad (1911–2001). ''Up'' is a 2009 American computer-animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film was directed by Pete Docter, co-directed by Bob Peterson (in his feature directorial debut), and produced by Jonas Rivera. Docter and Peterson also wrote the film's screenplay and story, with Tom McCarthy co-writing the latter. The film stars the voices of Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, Jordan Nagai, and Peterson. ''Brødrene Dal'' ('The Brothers Dal') is a Norwegian television series by Norwegian comedy trio KLM ( Kirkvaag, Lystad, Mjøen), that originally aired as four series in 1979, 1982, 1994 and 2005. A fifth adventure, originally performed on stage in 1997, was edited and released as a movie in 2010. The series bears many similarities to '' Monty Python's Flying Circus'', as the three actors play nearly all the different roles in the series, often multiple roles in each episode. Usually, the series would have a main plot keeping the story and episodes together, but most of the content being semi-related or unrelated sketches. This is especially true for the first series ''Professor Drøvels Hemmelighet'' (1979), where the story frequently diverges from the main plot for entire episodes, only to jump back to the plot in the last minute.
