Helene Walsh is an American politician and former Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives. She represented the 51st district via an appointment in August 2018 to replace the outgoing State Representative Nick Sauer. The 51st district includes all or parts of Barrington, Deer Park, Forest Lake, Green Oaks, Hawthorn Woods, Kildeer, Lake Barrington, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Long Grove, Mundelein and North Barrington. Nick Sauer (born October 11, 1982) is a Republican politician and former member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 51st district which includes Deer Park, Forest Lake, Green Oaks, Hawthorn Woods, Kildeer, Lake Barrington, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Long Grove, Mundelein and North Barrington. Before his election to the House, he was a director of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority and a member of the Lake County Board. Professional and political career Sauer began his professional career in the US Department of Commerce under President George W Bush.
