Helena Ólafsdóttir
Helena Ólafsdóttir (born 12 November 1969) is an Icelandic football manager and former player. A striker during her playing career, she is currently in her second spell as manager of the women's team at Valur in the Úrvalsdeild kvenna. A qualified sports teacher and personal trainer outside of football, Helena grew up in the town of Neskaupstaður before moving to Reykjavík aged 11. She started her career in the youth team at Víkingur Reykjavík before joining KR in the summer of 1986 and went on to score 55 goals in 64 league appearances for the club over the following five seasons. In 1992, she signed for ÍA and it was there that she won the first honours of her career as the side won both the Icelandic Women's Cup and the Icelandic Women's Super Cup that year. Neskaupstaður
Neskaupstaður () is a town located on the fjord Norðfjörður on the eastern side of Iceland. It is part of the municipality of Fjarðabyggð and, as of 2016, it has a population of 1,481. Neskaupstaður is the third largest town in Eastern Region. The town was originally built on a farm called "Nes", settled by Egill rauði ("the red"). Laugarvatn
Laugarvatn () is the name of a lake and a small town in the south of Iceland. The lake is smaller than the neighbouring Apavatn. Tourism Laugarvatn lies within the Golden Circle, a popular tourist route, and acts as a staging post. The town has a population of about 200, and lies predominantly along the west side of the lake. The lake contains geothermal springs under its surface, making it a popular swimming spot with some warm patches along the shoreline year-round. Education Menntaskólinn að Laugarvatni (ML), a boarding gymnasium with approximately 200 students, is located in the town. Andrea Olga Færseth (born 23 May 1975) is an Icelandic former multi-sport athlete. She was a member of the Icelandic national teams in both football and basketball. In 1994, Olga won the national championship and national cup in both football and basketball. Akranes () is a port town and municipality on the west coast of Iceland, around north of the capital Reykjavík. The area where Akranes is located was settled in the 9th century; however, it did not receive a municipal charter until 1942.
