Helen Skelton
Helen Elizabeth Skelton (born 19 July 1983) is an English television presenter and actress. She co-presented the BBC children's programme '' Blue Peter'' from 2008 until 2013, and since 2014 has been a presenter on ''Countryfile''. She also co-presented two series of the BBC One programme '' Holiday Hit Squad'' alongside Angela Rippon and Joe Crowley. She also presented the daytime series ''The Instant Gardener'' that ran for two series. Early life Skelton was born on 19 July 1983, in Carlisle, Cumbria, England, and brought up on a dairy farm in the village of Kirkby Thore. She attended its local Primary School, and then Appleby Grammar School, ultimately graduating from Cumbria Institute of the Arts, where she gained a BA degree in journalism. Carlisle
Carlisle ( , ; from xcb, Caer Luel) is a city that lies within the Northern England, Northern English county of Cumbria, south of the Anglo-Scottish border, Scottish border at the confluence of the rivers River Eden, Cumbria, Eden, River Caldew, Caldew and River Petteril, Petteril. Appleby Grammar School
Appleby Grammar School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form in Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria for students aged 11 to 18. Since 2011, it has been an Academy. ''Sportsround'' is a weekly spin-off from CBBC children's news programme ''Newsround''. The sports magazine show was broadcast between 2005 and 2010, on Friday evenings at 6:30pm on CBBC Channel and on Saturday mornings on BBC Two at 7.25am. BBC Radio Cumbria is the BBC's local radio station serving the county of Cumbria. It broadcasts on FM, AM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds from studios in Carlisle. CFM is an Independent Local Radio station based in Carlisle, England, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Hits Radio network. It broadcasts to Cumbria and South West Scotland. As of September 2022, the station has a weekly audience of 135,250 listeners according to RAJAR. On 29 November 2022, Bauer announced that CFM will rebrand to Greatest Hits Radio in April 2023.
