Helen Nelson (rugby Union)
Helen Nelson (born 24 May 1994) is a Scottish rugby union player. She played for Scotland and was captain for the team at the 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship in their winning match against Wales. She was the captain of the Scotland Rugby Union Sevens Captain from 2018-2019 and has also been a member of the Scottish Alpine Ski Team (2009-2012). Club career Nelson is a Scottish Rugby contracted player, who is part of the Loughborough Lightning team. Before joining the club, she played for Montpellier Hérault Rugby for the 2018 season. She has also played for Barbarians FC and for the University of Edinburgh. She played for the Murrayfield Wanderers from 2012-17 and was part of the Murrayfield Wanderers team that won the 2016/17 league and cup double. Loughborough Lightning (women's Rugby Union)
Loughborough Lightning are a women's rugby union club based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England. They are the women's team of Loughborough Students RUFC and Loughborough University. Together with the netball team and the women's cricket team, the rugby union team is one of three women's sports teams based Loughborough University that use the Loughborough Lightning name. In 2017, they were selected as a franchise for the inaugural Premier 15s season. Dr Rachel Ann Malcolm is a Scottish professional rugby player for Loughborough Lightning in the Allianz Premier 15s and Scotland Women. She plays predominantly as a Openside Flanker, however is also at home across the back row. She captained Scotland for the 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship but was forced to step down due to a knee injury in the team's opening game. Scotstoun Stadium
Scotstoun Stadium is an athletics and rugby union stadium in Scotstoun, an area in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow Warriors have trained at the facility since 2009 and have played their home games here from the 2012–13 season onwards. It has a capacity of 9,708 for rugby union. Between 2012 and 2015, the Stadium hosted the Scotland Sevens – the Scottish leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, but then the leg was moved to a new host country, France in 2016. The Rugby World Cup is the women's rugby union world championship which is organised by World Rugby.
