Helen Leake
Helen Louise Leake (born 15 December 1949) is an Australian film producer, who was CEO of the South Australian Film Corporation from 2004 to 2007. She was born Helen Louise Mann in Adelaide, South Australia, and was educated at Seymour College and Flinders University. In 1994, she founded Duo Art Productions with Craig Lahiff, and they produced the films ''Ebbtide'' (1994), ''Heaven's Burning'' (1997), ''Black and White (2002 film), Black and White'' (2002) and ''Swerve (film), Swerve'' (2011) with Lahiff directing. In 2013, Leake produced ''Wolf Creek 2'', a sequel to Greg McLean (film director), Greg McLean's 2005 horror thriller. From 2004 to 2007, Leake served as CEO of the South Australian Film Corporation, having served on the corporation's board since 2001. In 2014, Leake founded Dancing Road Productions with Gena Ashwell. The company is producing an upcoming biographical film about John Monash, Sir John Monash. A bracket is either of two tall fore- or back-facing punctuation marks commonly used to isolate a segment of text or data from its surroundings. Greg McLean (film Director)
Greg McLean is an Australian film director, producer and writer, best known for his work in horror films. He rose to fame in 2005 with his debut feature film, ''Wolf Creek (film), Wolf Creek'', creating one of Australia's most memorable and horrific characters, Mick Taylor (fictional character), Mick Taylor (played by John Jarratt). The long-awaited sequel to his first feature, ''Wolf Creek 2'' was released February 2013. The Order of Australia is an honour that recognises Australian citizens and other persons for outstanding achievement and service. It was established on 14 February 1975 by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, on the advice of the Australian Government. Before the establishment of the order, Australian citizens received British honours. John Monash
General Sir John Monash, (; 27 June 1865 – 8 October 1931) was an Australian civil engineer and military commander of the First World War. He commanded the 13th Infantry Brigade before the war and then, shortly after its outbreak, became commander of the 4th Brigade in Egypt, with whom he took part in the Gallipoli campaign. In July 1916 he took charge of the newly raised 3rd Division in northwestern France and in May 1918 became commander of the Australian Corps, at the time the largest corps on the Western Front. Monash is considered one of the best Allied generals of the First World War and the most famous commander in Australian history. Wolf Creek 2
''Wolf Creek 2'' is a 2013 Australian horror film co-written and directed by Greg McLean. The film is a sequel to the 2005 film '' Wolf Creek'' and stars John Jarratt, reprising his role as Mick Taylor. It was released on 30 August 2013 at the Venice Film Festival, then released in Australia on 20 February 2014. The film follows a young German couple, and a British tourist, who fall victim to the kidnapping and torture of Mick Taylor, a deranged xenophobic killer, while travelling in the Australian outback. Similar to the 2005 film, the plot is based upon the real-life murders of backpackers by Ivan Milat in the 1990s and Bradley Murdoch in 2001.
