Helen A. Neville
Helen A. Neville is a professor of educational psychology and African-American studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, where she has taught since 2001. She previously served on the faculty of the University of Missouri, where she was the co-founder and co-director of the Center for Multicultural Research, Training, and Consultation. She received the Association of Black Psychologists' Distinguished Psychologist of the Year Award in 2011 and was a Fulbright Scholar in Tanzania in 2015–2016. A year or annus is the orbital period of a planetary body, for example, the Earth, moving in its orbit around the Sun. Black is a color which results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without hue, like white and grey. It is often used symbolically or figuratively to represent darkness.
