Al-Hikmah University
Al-Hikmah University is an Islamic university located in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. It was founded in 2005 by AbdulRaheem Oladimeji Islamic Foundation (AROIF) based in Nigeria and World Assembly of Muslim Youths (WAMY) based in Jeddah. Professor Muhammed Taofeek Olalekan Ibrahim is the immediate past Vice-chancellor. He was succeeded by Professor Noah Yusuf. who is now the current Vice-chancellor. Dar Al-Hekma University is a private, non-profit institution of higher education for women in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Classes are taught in English. The Université La Sagesse (), also known by the acronym ULS, is an established academic institute in Furn-El-Chebak, Lebanon. The university was established according to decree 1947 in 1999. But the university's Higher College of Law goes back to 1875. The House of Wisdom ( ar, بيت الحكمة, Bayt al-Ḥikmah), also known as the Grand Library of Baghdad, refers to either a major Abbasid public academy and intellectual center in Baghdad or to a large private library belonging to the Abbasid caliphs during the Islamic Golden Age.
