Heimbach (Glatt)
Heimbach is a river of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It flows into the Glatt near Dornhan. Geography Course The ''Heimbach'' has its source southwest of the Schramberg district Waldmössingen in the district of Rottweil and then flows in a largely northern direction through the community Fluorn-Winzeln, past the Alpirsbach district Römlinsdorf and the Dornhan district Busenweiler. Afterwards it crosses the area of the Lossburg community. After the district Wälde the small river changes its direction of flow towards the east towards the Glatt. It now flows in an arc around the district Sterneck through a wooded valley, feeds a small dam below Sterneck, which is somewhat hidden in the woods, and then flows into the Glatt in the Dornhan district Leinstetten. Catchment area The Heimbach drains 77.4 km2 on the eastern edge of the Black Forest in a north-north-eastern direction to the Neckar tributary Glatt, which flows almost in the opposite direction. Glatt (in its upper course: ''Kübelbach'') is a river of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. On its shore is the village Glatt, known for its watercastle. It ends in the territory of Horb am Neckar in the Neckar river. Geography Source streams The ''Glatt'' originates in the village Aach, a district of Dornstetten. Here, the left and northern upper reaches of the Kübelbach merge with the right Stockerbach coming from the northwest next to the Grüntaler Straße to form the Glatt. Both branches are between 8 and 9 km long. The main upper course of the Glatt is the Kübelbach. Its own upper course up to the ''Silberwiesen'' before the first settlement Dornstetten-Hallwangen is called ''Glattbach''. The source of ''Glattbach/Kübelbach'' is located at about 717 m above Sea Level in the ''Stutzwald'' at the community border of Dornstetten to Freudenstadt and is called ''Glattbrunnen''. Kinzig (Rhine)
The Kinzig is a river in southwestern Germany, a right tributary of the Rhine. It runs for 93 km from the Black Forest through the Upper Rhine River Plains. The Kinzig valley and secondary valleys constitute the largest system of valleys in the Black Forest. Depending on the definition, the Kinzig is either the border between the Northern and Middle Black Forest or part of the Middle Black Forest. It is located entirely inside the State of Baden-Württemberg and its name is supposed to be of Celtic origin. During the last glacial period the Kinzig and the Murg created a common Kinzig-Murg river system. Eschach (upstream from Horgen also: ''Württembergische Eschach'') is a river of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It flows into the Neckar south of Rottweil. Geography Source flows The Eschach arises from two spring waters. The longer one is hydrographically classified as its upper course, the much more water-rich one as its third important inflow. Northern headwaters The longest flow path begins today as ''Eschach'' (without name addition), after older name as ''Württembergische Eschach'' or also ''Horgener Eschach''. It has its source at the homestead "Heimliswald" in the district Rötenberg of Aichhalden at an elevation of 699 m above sea level and flows first in southeast direction. Neckar
The Neckar () is a river in Germany, mainly flowing through the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg, with a short section through Hesse. The Neckar is a major right tributary of the Rhine. Rising in the Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis near Schwenningen in the ''Schwenninger Moos'' conservation area at a height of above sea level, it passes through Rottweil, Rottenburg am Neckar, Kilchberg, Tübingen, Wernau, Nürtingen, Plochingen, Esslingen, Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, Marbach, Heilbronn and Heidelberg, before discharging on average of water into the Rhine at Mannheim, at above sea level, making the Neckar its 4th largest tributary, and the 10th largest river in Germany.
