Heilige-Drievuldigheidscollege or the "Holy Trinity College Preparatory School" is a school in the city of Leuven in the Flemish Brabant province of Belgium. The Holy-Trinity College is a Catholic school established by the Josephites of Belgium in the heart of Leuven. The school has a primary school and a secondary school. The basic options available to students are modern sciences, Latin and Latin-Greek. In the second and third grade there is an almost complete range of studies in general secondary education. History The school was founded in 1843 by canon Constant van Crombrugghe, founder of the Congregation of the Josephites. The main entrance to the school is located on the edge of the Old Market, the rear of the school is at the Father Damien Square, where the mortal remains of Blessed Damien of Molokai rest in the crypt of the St. Anthony Church. The Christian doctrine of the Trinity (, from 'threefold') is the central dogma concerning the nature of God in most Christian churches, which defines one God existing in three coequal, coeternal, consubstantial divine persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit, three distinct persons sharing one ''homoousion'' (essence) "each is God, complete and whole." Philip Verheyen
Philip Verheyen (Verrebroek, April 23, 1648 – Leuven, January 28, 1710) was a Flemish surgeon, anatomist and author. As the third child of seven, Verheyen was born in Verrebroek, in modern Belgium (most likely in his parents' house, standing on a small plot of owned land in the area called "Borring", close to the border with Meerdonk), to Thomas Verheyen and Joanna Goeman. He was baptized in the parish church of Verrebroek on 24 April 1648. Little is known of his childhood. As a young boy he was probably a cowherd, and it is assumed that he learned to read and write at the local parish school. Local folk tales claim that he had such a brilliant memory that he could recite the pastor's sermon after attending mass on Sunday. Henry Moeller
Henry Moeller (1852–1918) was a Belgian priest and literary critic, who for twenty years edited the cultural review ''Durendal''. Life Moeller was born in Leuven on 12 July 1852, the sixth son of Professor Jean Moeller and Marie-Sabine Durst.Raymond Pouilliart, "Moeller, Henry", ''Nouvelle Biographie Nationale'', vol. 1 (Brussels, 1988), pp. 271-274. One of his brothers, Charles, also went on to become a professor in Leuven; another died serving with the Papal Zouaves.
