Heber Jentzsch
Heber Carl Jentzsch (born November 30, 1935) is an American Scientologist who served as the president of the Church of Scientology International from 1982 to around 2010. Jentzsch is listed as missing, and the Church of Scientology International will not disclose any other information regarding him. Early life Heber Jentzsch was born in 1935 in Salt Lake City and grew up in a Mormon family and named after Latter-day Saint apostle Heber C. Kimball. Though he was never baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he identified himself as a "believing Mormon". He is the son of polygamist Carl Jentzsch and Carl's third wife Pauline; Heber has 42 siblings. In 1955 Carl was arrested, and excommunicated from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Heber Curtis
Heber Doust Curtis (June 27, 1872 – January 9, 1942) was an American astronomer. He participated in 11 expeditions for the study of solar eclipses, and, as an advocate and theorist that additional galaxies existed outside of the Milky Way, was involved in the 1920 Shapley–Curtis Debate concerning the size and galactic structure of the universe. Biography Curtis was born on June 27, 1872, the elder son of Orson Blair Curtis and Sarah Eliza Doust. He studied at the University of Michigan and at the University of Virginia, earning a degree in astronomy from the latter. From 1902 to 1920 Curtis worked at Lick Observatory, continuing the survey of nebulae initiated by Keeler. He headed up the Lick southern station in Chile from 1905 until 1909, when he returned to take charge of the Crossley telescope. Heber Percy Slatter (1887 – 7 May 1918) was an English amateur footballer who played in the Southern League for Reading as a left half. He also played in the Isthmian League for Oxford City. Personal life Slatter was born in Earley and grew up in Reading. He attended Christ's Hospital, and later worked as a tax collector for Reading Council. He was married with two children. In November 1915, during the second year of the First World War, Slatter enlisted as a gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery. After being posted to the Western Front in 1916, he was promoted to corporal. Heber Blankenhorn (March 26, 1884 – January 1, 1956) was a 20th-Century American journalist, psychological warfare innovator, and union activist who served on the National Labor Relations Board and recognized decades later by the U.S. Army as both Distinguished Member of the PSYOP Regiment (DMOR) and original "Silver Knight" for his service during both world wars in the " Psychological Operations Regiment."
