Heaven or the heavens, is a common religious cosmological or transcendent supernatural place where beings such as deities, angels, souls, saints, or venerated ancestors are said to originate, be enthroned, or reside. According to the beliefs of some religions, heavenly beings can descend to Earth or incarnate and earthly beings can ascend to Heaven in the afterlife or, in exceptional cases, enter Heaven alive. Heaven is often described as a "highest place", the holiest place, a Paradise, in contrast to hell or the Underworld or the "low places" and universally or conditionally accessible by earthly beings according to various standards of divinity, goodness, piety, faith, or other virtues or right beliefs or simply divine will. Heaven (2002 Film)
''Heaven'' is a 2002 romantic thriller film directed by Tom Tykwer, starring Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi. Co-screenwriter Krzysztof Kieślowski intended for it to be the first part of a trilogy (the second being ''Hell'' and the third titled ''Purgatory''), but Kieślowski died before he could complete the project. The film is an international co-production among producers based in Germany, France, Italy, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The dialogue is in Italian and English. Plot The film is set in Turin, Italy. It opens with a prologue sequence showing the young Italian Carabinieri clerk Filippo (Ribisi) learning to fly a helicopter using a flight simulator. Heaven Music is an independent record label in Athens, Greece, founded in 2001 by ANT1 Group. It is known for signing new and young artists. Heaven (Romanian Band)
Heaven is a Romanian dance-pop girl group comprising lead singer Adina Postelnicu alongside her sister Roxana and Aliana Roșca. Formed in early 2005 in Vaslui, the band was launched into local recognition following the release of their best-selling debut single, named “Pentru totdeauna”, which was a hit on the Romanian charts. Heaven's debut album, titled '' O Parte Din Rai'', was released in Romania in spring 2006 and has been compiled under the auspices of Cat Music. Heaven is an Australian heavy metal band from Sydney, Australia, that formed in 1980. The band recorded three albums and toured throughout the United States during the 1980s. The group's original style was similar to that of AC/DC but in later years went in a more commercial heavy metal direction along the lines of Judas Priest. is a 2009 novel by Mieko Kawakami. Its English translation, released in 2021 and published by Europa Editions, had Sam Bett and David Boyd as the translators. This is the second book by Kawakami to be translated into English. The title refers to a painting in the story which one of the characters, a girl named Kojima, gave a new name. Background Kawakami, on her personal website, cited ''Thus Spoke Zarathustra'' as having given her ideas for writing this book. Content The story is set in Japan in 1991.
