Adam Tom Heather (born 7 November 1972) is an English cricketer. Heather is a left-handed batsman. He was born in Manchester, Lancashire. Heather made his debut for Northumberland in the 1996 Minor Counties Championship against Staffordshire. Heather played Minor counties cricket for Northumberland from 1996 to 2007, which included 53 Minor Counties Championship matches and 20 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. In 1999, he made his List A debut against Ireland in the NatWest Trophy. He made 4 further List A appearances for the county, the last coming against Middlesex in the 2005 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. In his 5 List A matches, he scored 138 runs at a batting average of 27.60, with a high score of 79. This came against the Northamptonshire Cricket Board in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. Peter John Heather (born 8 June 1960) is a British historian of late antiquity and the Early Middle Ages. Heather is Chair of the Medieval History Department and Professor of Medieval History at King's College London. He specialises in the fall of the Western Roman Empire and the Goths, on which he for decades has been considered the world's leading authority. Biography Heather was born in Northern Ireland on 8 June 1960. He was educated at Maidstone Grammar School, and received his M.A. and D.Phil. from New College, Oxford. Among his teachers at Oxford were John Matthews and James Howard-Johnston. Heather subsequently lectured at Worcester College, Oxford, Yale University and University College London. Roy Heather (20 May 1935 – 3 September 2014) was an English television actor best remembered for playing cafe owner Sid in the sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses''. Heather was born in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire. After leaving school, he worked for an asbestos firm before National Service with the Royal Air Force. He then did several jobs, including working as a ''Betterware'' household goods salesman, while continuing his interest in amateur acting. He was spotted by David Tudor, who gave him his first professional job in repertory theatre at the age of 44. Scott Heather (born September 14, 1975) is an American college baseball coach, currently serving as head coach of the Bucknell Bison baseball program. He was named to that position prior to the 2013 season. Heather began his playing career at Arizona Western, and completed his eligibility at Arkansas. He played on season with the independent Duluth–Superior Dukes and served as a student assistant at Arkansas in 1999. For the next five seasons, he worked as an assistant coach at Arkansas–Fort Smith, then a junior college. In 2005, Heather joined the staff at Bucknell, working with pitchers. He was elevated to the head coaching position after longtime head coach Gene Depew retired. Teariki William Heather (born 30 July 1959) is a Cook Islands politician and former Cabinet minister who served as Deputy Prime Minister of the Cook Islands from 2013 to 2018. Previously a member of the Cook Islands Party, he is now the leader of the Cook Islands United Party. Early life Heather was born on Rarotonga and educated at Arorangi Primary school and Tereora College. He is the younger brother of Democratic Party MP William (Smiley) Heather.
