Heathen Chemistry Tour
The Heathen Chemistry World Tour was a concert tour by English band Oasis (band), Oasis, which took place between 2002 and 2003. The tour was in promotion of their record ''Heathen Chemistry''. While the tour was successful, it was plagued by major incidents including lead singer Liam Gallagher's voice giving out during three of the band's gigs and resulted in him walking off stage and guitarist Noel Gallagher had to take over on vocals, a car crash that left Noel, bassist Andy Bell (musician), Andy Bell and touring keyboardist Jay Darlington in hospital and resulted in the North American leg getting cut short and a bar brawl in Munich, Germany involving Liam, drummer Alan White (Oasis drummer), Alan White and several members of their crew that left Liam getting his teeth knocked out, White getting brain scans, Liam getting fined with £35,000 and the German leg getting pushed into March 2003. Oasis (band)
Oasis were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. Originally known as the Rain, the group initially consisted of Liam Gallagher (lead vocals, tambourine), Paul Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass guitar) and Tony McCarroll (drums). Liam's older brother Noel (lead guitar, vocals) later joined as a fifth member, finalising the group's core lineup. During the course of their existence, they had various lineup changes, with the Gallagher brothers remaining the only staple members. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993 and released their record-setting debut album ''Definitely Maybe'' (1994). "Cigarettes & Alcohol" is a song by English rock band Oasis, written by Noel Gallagher. "The Masterplan" is a song by English rock band Oasis. It was written by lead guitarist Noel Gallagher and originally released on 30 October 1995 as a B-side to the single " Wonderwall". Writing and recording The song was written by lead guitarist Noel Gallagher and is sung by Noel, and features all band members except lead vocalist Liam Gallagher and Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan (Noel Gallagher plays the bass himself on this track), in addition to an orchestra. "Whatever" is a song by the English rock band Oasis. Written by the band's lead guitarist, Noel Gallagher, it was released on 18 December 1994 as the band's first non-album single. A subsequent lawsuit awarded a co-writing credit to Neil Innes. History At six minutes and twenty-one seconds, "Whatever" was the longest single the band had released up to that point (it was later surpassed by "Champagne Supernova"). The song follows an AB structure, which differs from Verse-Chorus, as the main hook occurs at the beginning of the song. "I Am the Walrus" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1967 television film ''Magical Mystery Tour''.
