''Hearts in Armor'' is the second studio album by American country music singer Trisha Yearwood. It was released on September 1, 1992, by MCA Nashville. Four of its tracks found spots in the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles chart in 1992 and 1993: "Wrong Side of Memphis" rose to No. 5, "Walkaway Joe" to No. 2, "You Say You Will" to No. 12, and "Down on My Knees" to No. 19. The album rose to No. 12 in the ''Billboard'' country albums chart. The album was released immediately following Yearwood's divorce with her first husband, and has been considered one of her greatest albums. It was met with mostly positive reviews by critics. Patricia Lynn Yearwood (born September 19, 1964) is an American singer, actress, author and television personality. Timothy Ray Menzies (born August 25, 1959), sometimes known as Tim Mensy, is an American country music artist. Initially, he was a member of the band Bandana, in which he charted several singles on the Hot Country Songs charts in the 1980s. After leaving Bandana, Menzies began a solo career on Columbia Records in 1990, releasing his debut album ''Stone by Stone'' that year. Harry Stinson is an American multi-instrumentalist, noted as a session drummer and vocalist in the Nashville music community. He is also a songwriter and producer. Biography Stinson grew up in Nashville, where he grew to love country music. He was in a high school band with Morris West, son of country star Dottie West. In 1970, Stinson first worked professionally in Dottie West's band the Heartaches, touring with Red Sovine and Don Gibson, and appearing on the Grand Ole Opry. In 1974, Stinson substituted for Willie Leacox for the band America's tour. Matraca Maria Berg Hanna (; born February 3, 1964, in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American country music singer and songwriter. The Mavericks
The Mavericks are an American country music band from Miami, Florida. The band consists of Raul Malo (lead vocals, guitar), Paul Deakin (drums), Eddie Perez (lead guitar), and Jerry Dale McFadden (keyboards). Malo and Deakin founded the band in 1989 along with Robert Reynolds (bass guitar) and Ben Peeler (lead guitar). The Ballad Of Sally Rose
''The Ballad of Sally Rose'' is an album by Emmylou Harris released in February 1985. It marked a significant departure for Harris for two reasons. First, all the songs were written by her and her then-husband Paul Kennerley, while her previous albums had consisted mostly of others' material. Secondly, it is a concept album, loosely based on Harris' relationship with Gram Parsons. The album tells the story of a character named Sally Rose, a singer whose lover and mentor, a hard-living, hard-drinking musician, is killed while on the road. Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Gail Davies sing harmony on several of the songs. Many of the songs flow into one another to create a continuous momentum.
