Heart of Midlothian Football Club, commonly known as Hearts, is a professional Association football, football club in Edinburgh, Scotland. The team competes in the Scottish Professional Football League. Hearts, the oldest and most successful football club in the Scottish capital, was formed in 1874, its name influenced by Walter Scott, Walter Scott's novel ''The Heart of Midlothian''. The club crest is based on the Heart of Midlothian (Royal Mile), Heart of Midlothian mosaic on the city's Royal Mile; the team's colours are maroon and white. Hearts have played home matches at Tynecastle Park since 1886. After converting the ground into an all-seater stadium in 1990, it now has a capacity of following the completion of a rebuilt main stand in 2017. They have training facilities at the Oriam, Scotland's national performance centre for sport, where they also run their Heart of Midlothian F.C. Under-20s and Academy, youth academy. Ann Budge
Ann Cochrane Cook Wallace Budge (born 21 February 1948) is a Scottish businesswoman and company director. Career Budge graduated with a psychology degree, and became the first woman appointed to a senior position in Scottish & Newcastle after starting her career there as a trainee programmer. After leaving F International - now Xansa - Budge set up business working from home, and teaming up with Allison Newell in 1985, launched Newell & Budge, which specialised in making bespoke software and IT systems. It was sold to the French IT company Sopra Group, for a reported £30 million, and Budge became a chief executive. Recognition Budge was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Entrepreneurial Exchange in 2005 and was then inducted into the Entrepreneurial Exchange Hall of Fame in November 2013.
