Heartbreakers (1984 Film)
''Heartbreakers'' is a 1984 American drama film starring Peter Coyote and Nick Mancuso. It was written and directed by Bobby Roth. The film was entered into the 35th Berlin International Film Festival. Plot Two friends in their mid 30s, Blue (Coyote) and Eli (Mancuso), each arrive at crossroads in their lives. Blue is a painter specializing in fetishistic portraits of women, usually selling his images to porn magazines. Eli's father wants him to take over the family's undergarment business that has been paying for Eli's playboy lifestyle in the fast-paced and decadent Los Angeles of the 1980s. Blue is given an opportunity to have his work featured in gallery showing as legitimate art if he can create enough new pieces to fill out a show. Robert Jay Roth (born 1950) is an American television and film director, screenwriter and producer. Life and career Born and raised in Los Angeles, Roth began his tertiary education at the University of California, Berkeley studying philosophy and creative writing before earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema at the University of Southern California in 1972. George Morfogen
George Morfogen (March 30, 1933 – March 8, 2019) was an American stage, film and TV actor. He is known for playing Bob Rebadow in the HBO show '' Oz'', and for his role as Stanley Bernstein in the original '' V'' miniseries. He was of Greek descent. Biography He appeared at the Chelsea Theater Center of Brooklyn and at the off-Broadway Westside Theatre in Heinrich von Kleist's play, '' The Prince of Homburg''. Edgar Willmar Froese (; 6 June 1944 – 20 January 2015) was a German musical artist and electronic music pioneer, best known for founding the electronic music group Tangerine Dream in 1967. Froese was the only continuous member of the group until his death. Although his solo and group recordings prior to 2003 name him as "Edgar Froese", his later solo albums bear the name "Edgar W. ''Le Parc'' (1985) is the twenty-sixth major release and fourteenth studio album to be recorded by electronic artists Tangerine Dream. Each track on the album is inspired by parks from around the world. ''Le Parc'' marked Tangerine Dream's last studio release with Johannes Schmoelling, who left the band in October 1985. The title track "Le Parc" was used as the theme for the short-lived U.S television series, ''Street Hawk''. A video was produced for "Tiergarten". Track listing "Tangent" contains a hidden track at the end, an encore titled "Rare Bird", which is not listed on the sleeve of any of the original 1984 issues. On some CD reissues, it is separated and listed as its own track. The four tracks consist of 3-4 distinct sections each.
