Heartbeat (Margaret Song)
"Heartbeat" is a song by Polish singer Margaret. It was included on her debut studio album '' Add the Blonde'' (2014), and released to Polish contemporary hit radio as its third single on 23 February 2015. The "Special Limited Box" edition of ''Add the Blonde'' released on 23 December 2016 included a 7-inch vinyl of the single " Cool Me Down" with "Heartbeat" as the A-side. "Heartbeat" was written by Margaret and Joakim Buddee. Some of its lyrics were influenced by Michael Jackson's song " Beat It". The single reached number 11 on the Polish Airplay Chart. Margaret (singer)
Małgorzata Jamroży (; born 30 June 1991), known professionally as Margaret, is a Polish singer and songwriter. She rose to prominence in her native country in 2013, and achieved moderate chart success in some European territories with her singles " Thank You Very Much" (2013) and " Cool Me Down" (2016). After signing an international record deal with Warner Music in 2016, she became particularly successful in Sweden, and participated in the country's music competition ''Melodifestivalen'' in two consecutive years with the songs "In My Cabana" and "Tempo" in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Before her mainstream debut, Margaret performed with underground bands, recorded soundtracks for television commercials and films, and produced a fashion blog. The Polish music charts are provided by ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (Polish: Związek Producentów Audio-Video). Albums charts In the 1970s and the 1980s, Polish music monthly ''Non Stop'' published a year-end list of the best selling albums in Poland. In the mid-1990s, two monthly sales lists were launched and published in music magazines. The first one was a top 50 compiled by ZPAV, based on shipment, not sales, which continues to be published to date. The other was a top 100 called Gorąca Setka (English: Hot 100), printed monthly in ''Gazeta Muzyczna''. This chart was compiled from actual sale figures as reported by over 130 music shops across Poland and included both albums and singles. "Beat It" is a song by American singer Michael Jackson from his sixth studio album, '' Thriller'' (1982). It was written by Jackson and produced by Jackson and Quincy Jones.
