"Heart Vacancy" is a song by British boy band the Wanted from their The Wanted (album), self-titled debut album. It was released as the album's second single in the United Kingdom on 17 October 2010 through Geffen Records. The song was written by Jonas Jeberg, Cutfather, Lucas Secon, and Wayne Hector. "Heart Vacancy" was originally written for English singer Leona Lewis, and was given to four different artists before being recorded by the Wanted. Four years after the band's hiatus in 2014, Tom Parker (singer), Tom Parker, Max George and Jay McGuiness performed the song as a three piece at Parker's wedding to his fiancé Kelsey in July 2018. The Wanted are a British-Irish boy band consisting of group members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes and, until his death in 2022, Tom Parker (singer), Tom Parker. DJs from Mars is an Italian DJ and production team. They are known for their mashups of popular songs turned into electro dance music. Background The project started in 2003 after the meeting of young producers Luca Emanuele Ventafridda (aka Luca Ventafunk) and Massimiliano Garino (aka Max Aqualuce), in Bliss Corporation, an Italian label famous for the project of Eiffel 65 in the late 1990s.
