New Brunswick (french: Nouveau-Brunswick, , locally ) is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. It is one of the three Maritime provinces and one of the four Atlantic provinces. It is the only province with both English and French as its official languages. New Brunswick is bordered by Quebec to the north, Nova Scotia to the east, the Gulf of Saint Lawrence to the northeast, the Bay of Fundy to the southeast, and the U.S. state of Maine to the west. New Brunswick is about 83% forested and its northern half is occupied by the Appalachians. The province's climate is continental with snowy winters and temperate summers. Studholm Parish, New Brunswick
Studholm is a civil parish in Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada. For governance purposes it forms the local service district of the parish of Studholm, which further includes the service area of Lower Millstream. The local service district is a member of Regional Service Commission 8 (RSC8). Origin of name The parish was named in honour of Gilfred Studholme, a Loyalist military commander during the American Revolution, who later settled in the area and served on the first Executive Council of New Brunswick. History Studholm was erected in 1840 from Sussex Parish. It included Havelock Parish. In 1859 the eastern polling district was erected as Havelock Parish.
