''Adoration: The Worship Album'' is the tenth studio album by the Christian pop rock band Newsboys, released in 2003. Unlike the band's previous albums, ''Adoration'' is a solely worship-oriented album (as the subtitle implies), deviating from the Newsboys' standard pop rock sound. This was the last Newsboys' album with the long-time guitarist Jody Davis, until his reunion with the group in 2009 for ''In the Hands of God''. Newsboys (sometimes stylised as newsboys) are a Christian rock band founded in 1985 in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, by Peter Furler and George Perdikis. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold. Steve Taylor
Roland Stephen Taylor (born December 9, 1957) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, music executive, film maker, assistant professor, and actor. A figure in what has come to be known as Christian alternative rock, Taylor enjoyed a successful solo career during the 1980s, and also served in the short-lived group Chagall Guevara. In contrast to many Christian musical artists, his songs have often taken aim at other Christians with the use of satirical, sardonic lyrics. Robert C. Ludwig (born c. 1945) is an American mastering engineer. He has mastered recordings on all the major recording formats for all the major record labels, and on projects by more than 1,300 artists including Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Bryan Ferry, Paul McCartney, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen and Daft Punk resulting in over 3,000 credits. Dan Rudin
Dan Rudin is an American record producer, audio and mix engineer, who has amassed thousands of hours in studios across the country, receiving two Grammy Awards, and several gold and platinum records in the process. Rudin began his recording career working as a studio runner and general assistant at AAA Recording Studio, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, while still in high school. After studying music and electrical engineering at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida, he moved to New York, New York in 1986, where he took an entry-level position at the Hit Factory studios on 54th St. He went on to work at New York's Record Plant Studios and eventually became chief staff engineer at Grandslam Recording in West Orange, New Jersey. "In Christ Alone" is a popular modern Christian song written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend, both songwriters of Christian hymns and contemporary worship music in the United Kingdom.
