''He Died Fifteen Years Ago'' (Spanish: ''Murió hace quince años'') is a 1954 Spanish drama film directed by Rafael Gil and starring Rafael Rivelles, Francisco Rabal and Lyla Rocco. Synopsis Diego Acuña was one of the children transferred to the Soviet Union during the Spanish Civil War and educated in communism and prepared to act as an international spy. Among his destinations are France and Italy, where he will work under the command of Germán Goeritz. After several years he is entrusted with a mission in Spain, in which he must collaborate in the murder of his father, an important opponent of communism. Rafael Gil (22 May 1913 – 10 July 1986) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. His film ''La guerra de Dios'' (1953) won the Bronze Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1953 and also won best film and best director at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. His film ''La noche del sábado'' (1950) was nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1950 Venice Film Festival and his film ''El beso de Judas'' (1954) was also nominated for the Gold Lion at the 1954 festival in Venice. His film ''Let's Make the Impossible!'' (1958) was nominated for the Golden Berlin Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. María Dolores Fernández Pradera OAXS, MMT (29 August 1924 – 28 May 2018) was a Spanish melodic singer and actress, and one of the most famous voices in Spain and Latin America. Juan Antonio Espinoza Prieto (26 May 1926 – 14 July 2011) was a Chilean singer and actor. Also a popular singer, he scored an international 1961 hit with " La novia", mostly known in English-speaking countries as "The Wedding". In 1995 a ''20 Greatest Hits'' CD was released, which included such hits as "La novia" and "El milagro".
