Hayden Ng
Hayden Ng (; born 20 January 1966) is a Singapore based Fashion designer. Early life and education Ng studied at Saint Patrick's School, Singapore. After his secondary school education, Ng started his fashion career. Career In 1987, while doing his national service, Ng dressed Marion Nicole Teo for her contest for Miss Singapore Universe. Ng then opened his fashion boutique HAYDEN in the same year. Ng had represented Singapore for the Dalian Fashion Festival in China in 1990. In 1992, Ng started costume designing for theatre. From 2001 to 2003, Ng was the Chief Costume Designer for Singapore's National Day Parade. In 2006, Ng was nominated for the Straits Times’ 6th LIFE! Theatre Awards for best costume designer. Ng also designed the new ceremonial attire for the Singapore contingent for 2006 Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled Games in Kuala Lumpur that year. Saint Patrick's School, Singapore
Saint Patrick's School is a government-aided Lasallian Catholic boys' secondary school located along East Coast Road, Singapore. It is more commonly referred to as St Pat's, SPS or St Patrick's. Students and old boys call themselves Patricians or Sons of St. Patrick's. History Saint Patrick's was founded in 1933 as a temporary branch school of Saint Joseph's Institution, another Catholic boys' school in Singapore. It was built on land acquired by the La Salle Brothers in 1898 which was originally intended for building a resort bungalow. Brother Stephen Buckley saw the population growth in eastern Singapore and petitioned the La Salle Brothers to build a school on that piece of land. Singapore National Day Parade
The National Day Parade (NDP) is an annual parade held in Singapore to commemorate its independence. Held annually on 9 August, it is the main public celebration of National Day, consists of a parade incorporating contingents of the Singapore Armed Forces, Ministry of Home Affairs, local institutions and community groups, followed by a cultural presentation culminating with a fireworks display. First held on 9 August 1966 to mark the one-year anniversary of the Proclamation of Singapore, it has been held annually since then. 2006 FESPIC Games
The 2006 FESPIC Games, officially known as the 9th and Final FESPIC Games, was an Asia-Pacific disabled multi-sport event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 25 November to 1 December 2006. This was the first and last time Malaysia hosted the games. Malaysia is the eighth and the last FESPIC organisation member to host the FESPIC games after Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, China, Thailand, and South Korea. Around 3,641 athletes from 46 nations competed at the games which featured 19 sports. The games was opened by Prime Minister of Malaysia, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the KLFA stadium. Rachel Kum (born 8 April 1985) is a Singaporean entrepreneur who co-founded the Singaporean company Rachel K Cosmetics. She is also a former beauty pageant participant who won Miss Singapore Universe 2009.
