is a Japanese attorney who previously served as a Liberal Democratic Party (Japan), Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) member of the House of Representatives of Japan, House of Representatives in the Diet of Japan, Diet (national legislature), representing the 4th District of Saitama prefecture. Haya River (Kanagawa)
The Haya River ( = Hayakawa, literally a ''fast-flowing river'' ) is a river that flows in Hakone and Odawara, Kanagawa, Japan. It is a 26 km long river, starting from the Kojiri Water Gate (湖尻水門) at the northern tip of Lake Ashi, gathering rain and hot spring water as it flows in the Sengoku, the Mount Hakone caldera, running down beside the towns of Hakone Hot Springs, and emptying near Odawara Fishing Port () into Sagami Bay of the Pacific Ocean. Lake Ashi is not the source of the Haya River, because it is drained through the Fukara Water Gate to the , completed in 1676, which leads to Shizuoka Prefecture. Lady Hayakawa
Lady Hayakawa (早川殿, ''Hayakawa-Dono'', died April 4, 1613) was a Japanese woman and aristocrat of the Sengoku period. Hayakawa is a common nickname for one of ''Daimyō'' Hōjō Ujiyasu's daughters, who lived in the Sengoku through early Edo periods. She is best known for marrying into the Imagawa clan as a condition for The Kōsōsun Triple Alliance, an alliance which put daughters of the Takeda, Imagawa and Hojo clans into political marriages. The formation of the alliance would later change the fate of these three powerful clans. Life Elder daughter of Hōjō Ujiyasu, daimyō of Sagami province in Kanto, her mother was probably Zuikeii-in, sister of Imagawa Yoshimoto. In 1554, she married Imagawa Ujizane, her cousin, as an agreement of the Kai-Sagami-Suruga alliance, of which she had five children. Hayakawa Senkichirō
was a bureaucrat, politician and entrepreneur in late Meiji and early Taishō period Empire of Japan. He is noted for his involvement in the development of the South Manchurian Railway. Biography Hayakawa was born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. He graduated from the Law School of Tokyo Imperial University in 1887. In January 1890, he was hired by the Ministry of Finance, and became a director of the Bank of Japan in 1899. After leaving public service, Hayakawa became director of the Mitsui Bank in 1901, and chairman of the board in 1909. With the creation of the Mitsui Gomei ''zaibatsu'' through the merger of Mitsui Bank with Mitsui Trading, he became vice director in 1918. Tokuji Hayakawa
was a Japanese businessman and the founder of Hayakawa Kinzoku Kōgyō (the present-day Sharp Corporation). He invented and patented the “Tokubijō” belt buckle in 1912 (a belt which can fasten without perforating) and invented the "Ever Ready Sharp" mechanical pencil (from which his company would later get its name) in 1915. The success of the “Tokubijō” belt buckle led to Hayakawa starting his own metallurgical processing, which then developed into the present-day Sharp Corporation.
