Hawkins House (Dublin)
Hawkins House was a 12-storey office block in Dublin, Ireland. It was demolished in 2021. History Hawkins House, with the Screen Cinema, was built on the site of the Theatre Royal which sat on the corner of Hawkins Street and Townsend Street. Hawkins House is on the corner of Poolbeg Street and Hawkins Street and was built between 1962 and 1964. It was the first of a set of buildings erected on this block, including Apollo House in 1969, the Screen Cinema in 1972 and College House in 1974. The building was the former Department of Health headquarters. Along with College House, Hawkins House was sold for £12 million in 1984. Architecture The building was designed by English architect, Sir Thomas Bennett, and developed by the Rank Organisation. The 12-storey block had two curtain walls with two concrete slab facades. Hawkins House (Reno, Nevada)
Hawkins House, later known as Sierra Nevada Museum of Art, is a historic home in Reno, Nevada. It was designed in a colonial revival style by Elmer Grey for Prince A. Hawkins, a scion of the well-established Hawkins family, in 1911. It is now the offices of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA). It is adjacent to the Francis G. Newlands House, a National Historic Landmark. The William and Eliza Hawkins House, at 95 E. 200 North in Beaver, Utah, United States, was built in 1880. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was built as a vernacular hall and parlor cottage. The Hawkins added a brick lean-to addition in 1885; this portion was rebuilt in the 1970s. Pleasant Hill, also known as Rivenoak and Hawkins House, is a historic plantation house located near Middleburg, Vance County, North Carolina. It was built in 1759 and remodeled in the 1850s in the Greek Revival style. It is a -story, five-bay, Georgian double pile plan frame dwelling. It has a moderately steep gable roof with dormers and double-shoulder brick chimneys.
