Hawaizaada
''Hawaizaada'' () is a 2015 Indian Hindi drama film written, directed and produced by Vibhu Puri along with Reliance Entertainment. Inspired by the biography of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, the film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda. Talpade, a resident of Bombay, is claimed to have constructed and flown an Unmanned aerial vehicle, unmanned, Aircraft#Heavier than air, heavier-than-air aircraft in 1895. Contemporary accounts of a successful flight do not exist, and no reliable historical records document its existence. The film depicts Talpade successfully conducting a manned flight. It was released on 30 January 2015. The film was declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh. Pallavi Sharda (born 5 March 1990) is an Australian actress of Indian descent, and a classical Indian Bharathanatyam dancer. Vibhu Puri is an Indian film director, writer and lyricist. A gold medalist from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Vibhu Puri's debut feature as a director and producer, ''Hawaizaada'', featuring Mithun Chakraborty and Ayushmann Khurrana. It is the untold story of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who is claimed to have been the first to build a plane. In January 2015, the film opened to great reviews by critics, though it did not make a huge impact at the box office. Shivkar Bapuji Talpade
Shivkar Bāpuji Talpade (1864 – 1916) was an Indian instructor in the Sir JJ School of Art with an interest in Sanskrit and in aviation. He lived in Mumbai, and is claimed to have constructed and flown an unmanned, heavier-than-air aircraft in 1895. Contemporary accounts of a successful flight do not exist, and no reliable historical records document its existence. Biography Talpade was born in South Bombay (present-day Mumbai), in a Pathare Prabhu family. The year of his birth has been reported as 1864. Talpade worked as a technical instructor in the art and craft department of Sir JJ School of Art. He was a member of the Arya Samaj. Vaimānika Shāstra
The ''Vaimānika Śāstra'' (, lit. "shastra on the topic of Vimanas"; or "science of aeronautics", sometimes also rendered ''Vimanika, Vymanika, Vyamanika'') is an early 20th-century text in Sanskrit. It makes the claim that the '' vimānas'' mentioned in ancient Sanskrit epics were advanced aerodynamic flying vehicles. The existence of the text was revealed in 1952 by G. R.
