Hawaii Route 51
Route 51 is a three-mile (5 km) road that stretches from the junction Wapaa Road with Route 58 at the Nawiliwili Harbor in Lihue to Route 56 north of Lihue on The Garden Isle. Route description After the junction with Wapaa Road, Route 51 is signed with Rice Street for less than a mile. Route 51 then splits off with Rice Street and becomes Kapule Highway where the final segment north of the airport was completed in 1988. Lihue or Līhue is an unincorporated community, census-designated place (CDP) and the county seat of Kauai County, Hawaii, United States. Lihue (pronounced ) is the second largest town on the Hawaiian island of Kauai after Kapaa. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 6,455, up from 5,694 at the 2000 census. Hawaii Route 58
Route 58 is a road that stretches from Route 50 in Lihue to the junction of Wapaa Road with Hawaii 51 near Nawiliwili Harbor on Kauai island. Route description Route 58 begins at an intersection with Route 50 at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center, one of the few major shopping areas on Kauai island. Called Nawiliwili road, it heads southeast and loses the grassy median to become a two lane road. Route 58 comes to an end at Wapaa Road while Route 51 (Rice Street) continues back north from the coast. About halfway down route 58 is the Grove Farm Museum. Route 56, also known as Kuhio Highway, is the main highway on the north and east shore of Kauaii island in Kauai County, Hawaii, United States.
