Baie-Comeau (; 2021 city population 20,687; CA population 26,643) is a city located approximately north-east of Quebec City in the Côte-Nord region of the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River near the mouth of the Manicouagan River, and is the seat of Manicouagan Regional County Municipality. There are two urban area population centres within the city limits: Baie-Comeau proper, with a population of 9,100, and Hauterive, with a population of 11,147, as of the 2021 Canadian Census. Hauterive Abbey (french: Abbaye d’Hauterive) is a Cistercian abbey in the Switzerland, Swiss Municipalities of Switzerland, municipality of Hauterive, Fribourg, Hauterive in the Cantons of Switzerland, canton of Fribourg (canton), Fribourg. It is a Swiss Swiss inventory of cultural property of national and regional significance, heritage site of national significance. The entire Hauterive area is part of the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites. History The land for the abbey was donated between 1132-1137 by Baron Guillaume de Glâne (died in 1143, his grave is in the church). After monks moved down from Cherlieu Abbey in northern Burgundy (region), Burgundy and inhabited the buildings, the Bishop of Lausanne granted permission to consecrate the abbey in 1137. Alexandre Maurice Blanc De Lanautte, Comte D'Hauterive
Alexandre Maurice Blanc de Lanautte, Comte d'Hauterive (1754–1830), a French statesman and diplomat, was born at Aspres ( Hautes-Alpes) on the 14 April 1754 and educated at Grenoble, where he became a professor. Later, he held a similar position at Tours, where he attracted the attention of the duc de Choiseul, who invited him to visit him at Chanteloup. Endnote: There is a detailed account of Hauterive, with considerable extracts from his correspondence with Talleyrand, in the ''Biographie universelle'' by A.-F. Artaud de Montor, who published a separate life in 1831. Criticisms of his ''État de la France'' appeared in Germany and England by F. von Gentz (''Von dem politischen Zustande'', 1801) and by T. B.
