Hauser's Memory
''Hauser's Memory'' is a 1970 science fiction television movie directed by Boris Sagal and that starred Susan Strasberg, David McCallum, Lilli Palmer, Robert Webber and Leslie Nielsen. The screenplay by Adrian Spies was based on a 1968 novel of the same name by Curt Siodmak, which reworked the central idea of his novel '' Donovan's Brain'' (1943). The dying scientist Hauser knows of missile secrets. In order to preserve this information, the Central Intelligence Agency has scientist Hillel Mondoro (McCallum) inject himself with the cerebrospinal fluid extracted from Hauser. However, Hauser's wife Anna (Palmer) turns out to be pro-Nazi, and the memory of this woman also becomes imprinted on Mondoro's mind. Hauser's memory starts to take control of Mondoro and causes him to try to even some old scores. This film was a nominee for the 1971 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation. Peter Capell
Peter Capell (3 September 1912 – 3 March 1986) was a German actor who was active on screen from 1945 until 1985. Apart from a lengthy film career, he appeared in many television series and mini-series. He appeared in many old time radio programs including the series '' Dimension X''. His first role was in '' Winterset'', shortly after the end of the Second World War. His final role came a year before his death, when he appeared in ''Mamas Geburtstag''. Both of these were television productions. He also appeared in many films, including ''Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory'' (1971). Capell was also in Stanley Kubrick's 1957 war film ''Paths of Glory'' (he also narrated the film's opening sequence), co-starring Kirk Douglas. Death Capell died in Munich, West Germany on March 3, 1986, aged 73. No cause of death was announced. It was founded in 1982 and licenses its commercial entertainment database, known as Studio System. It is owned by Gracenote, a subsidiary of Nielsen Holdings.
