Hatti Archer
Harriet "Hatti" Archer (née Dean; born 2 February 1982) is a British long-distance runner who competes in cross country and steeplechase. She set three British national records in the 3000 metres steeplechase in 2007, most notably at a rain soaked event at Don Valley Stadium in July of that year. She competed at five World Cross Country Championships between 2005 and 2011, with her best result being 15th in Mombasa in 2007. She finished in the top ten at the European Cross Country Championships in 2008 (8th) and 2010 (7th), an event at which she has also won four team medals. Archer earned selection in the 3000 metres steeplechase for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, but was unable to compete due to a stress fracture to her ankle. Hallamshire (or Hallam) is the historical name for an area of South Yorkshire, England, approximating to the current City of Sheffield local government area. The origin of the name is uncertain. 2006 IAAF World Cross Country Championships
The 2006 IAAF World Cross Country Championships took place on April 1/2, 2006. The races were held at the Umi-no-nakamichi Seaside Park in Fukuoka, Japan, Japan's National Cross Country Course which is the permanent residence of the annual Fukuoka International Cross Country meeting. The event was once again dominated by Ethiopian and Kenyan runners and also Eritrean runners. Abingdon-on-Thames ( ), commonly known as Abingdon, is a historic market town and civil parish in the ceremonial county of Oxfordshire, England, on the River Thames. Historically the county town of Berkshire, since 1974 Abingdon has been administered by the Vale of White Horse district within Oxfordshire. World Mountain Running Championships
The World Mountain Running Championships (''World Mountain Running Trophy'' until 2008), is an international mountain running competition contested by athletes of the members of WMRA, World Mountain Running Association, the sport's global governing body. The championships include a senior men, senior women, junior men and women events and the team events of these races. It was first held in 1985 as the ''World Mountain Running Trophy'' before obtaining its current moniker in 2009. Lyubov Kharlamova (russian: Любовь Харламова), née Ivanova (, born 2 March 1981) is a Russian long-distance runner who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase. She finished fourth at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg and fourth at the 2006 IAAF World Athletics Final, but tested positive in a doping test for a steroid and received a two-year doping ban. She finished third in the 2010 European Athletics Championships – Women's 3000 metres steeplechase but on 18 August 2017 the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced that Kharlamova had been disqualified for doping offences following retesting. Yuliya Mikhailovna Zaripova ( rus, Юлия Михайловна Зарипова, née Ivanova ( rus, Иванова), divorced Zarudneva ( rus, Заруднева); born 26 April 1986 in Svetly Yar, Volgograd Oblast) is a Russian former middle-distance runner who specialised in the 3000 metres steeplechase event. Career Zaripova's first continental medals came at the 2008 European Cross Country Championships, where she won the bronze medal and silver team medal with Russia in the women's under-23 race. The following year she became the Russian indoor champion in the 3000 metres and took part in the women's 3000 m at the 2009 European Athletics Indoor Championships, finishing in seventh place.
