Hatchet (film Series)
''Hatchet'' is an American slasher film series created by Adam Green, which currently consists of four films, with a fifth one rumored to be in development. The series primarily focuses on the living urban legend of deformed black hermit Victor Crowley (portrayed by white actor Kane Hodder under heavy makeup), as well as his extremely violent kills. The series consists of four films, starting with ''Hatchet'' and followed by three sequels, ''Hatchet II'' and ''Hatchet III'', and ''Victor Crowley''. A fifth film has been teased by Green, which would leave behind the usual setting of Honey Island Swamp and instead go for a more suburban setting. Adam Green (filmmaker)
Adam Green (born March 31, 1975) is an American actor, filmmaker and musician, best known for his work in horror and comedy films, including the ''Hatchet'' franchise, 2010's '' Frozen'', and the television series ''Holliston''. Originating from Holliston, Massachusetts, Green earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Television and Film production at Hofstra University and founded ArieScope Pictures with fellow filmmaker Will Barratt in 1998. Green was also the lead singer for the hard rock and metal band "Haddonfield". Background Green was born and raised in Holliston, Massachusetts. ''Candyman'' is a 1992 American gothic supernatural horror film, written and directed by Bernard Rose and starring Virginia Madsen, Tony Todd, Xander Berkeley, Kasi Lemmons, and Vanessa E. Williams. Based on Clive Barker's short story " The Forbidden", the film follows a Chicago graduate student completing a thesis on urban legends and folklore, which leads her to the legend of the " Candyman", the ghost of an African-American artist and the son of a slave who was murdered in the late 19th century for his relationship with the daughter of a wealthy white man. Michael Myers is a fictional character from the ''Halloween'' series of slasher films. He first appears in John Carpenter's ''Halloween'' (1978) as a young boy who murders his elder sister, Judith Myers.
