Hasted Kraeutler
Hasted Hunt was a contemporary art gallery located in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City at 537 West 24th Street. The gallery was founded in 2005 by founding partner Sarah Hasted and W.M. Hunt. Hasted Hunt Gallery represented emerging and established artists from around the world. The addition of two painters and a sculptor to Hasted Hunt's repertoire in 2011–2012 had marked a progressive turning point to expand the gallery's program from a former focus on contemporary and vintage photography. Michael Benson (filmmaker)
Michael Benson (born March 31, 1962) is an American artist, writer, filmmaker, and exhibitions producer. Career Journalism After receiving a BA in English with a minor in photography at the State University of New York at Albany in 1984, Benson worked as a news assistant and occasional contributor to ''The New York Times'', but he left the paper after two years to pursue a career as a freelance journalist. In 1986, he began a series of articles for ''Rolling Stone'' covering the opening of the Soviet underground rock music scene during the so-called glasnost ("openness") period, which were published either with his own photographs or with images by noted rock photographer Anton Corbijn. Also in the mid-1980s, he wrote an hour-long documentary for MTV on Russian rock titled ''Tell Tchaikovsky the News''. Nick Brandt
Nick Brandt (born 1964) is an English photographer. Brandt's work generally focuses on the rapidly disappearing natural world, as a result of environmental destruction, climate change and humans' actions. Background and early career Born in 1964 and raised in London, England, Brandt studied Painting, and then Film at Saint Martin's School of Art. He moved to California in 1992 and directed many award-winning music videos for the likes of Michael Jackson ("Earth Song", " Stranger in Moscow", " One More Chance"), Moby ("Porcelain"), Jewel (" Hands"), XTC (" Dear God") among others. It was in 1995 while directing "Earth Song" in Tanzania that Brandt fell in love with the animals and land of East Africa. Jean-Paul Goude
Jean-Paul Goude (born 8 December 1938 in Montreuil (France)) is a French graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, advertising film director and event designer. He worked as art director at ''Esquire'' magazine in New York City during the 1970s, and famously choreographed the 1989 Bicentennial Parade in Paris to mark the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution.
