Hassan Jones
Hassan Ameer Jones (born July 2, 1964) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 5th round of the 1986 NFL Draft . He played for the Clearwater High School Tornadoes . A 6'0", 195-lb. wide receiver from Florida State, Jones played in eight NFL seasons from 1986 to 1993. 1990 NFL Season
The 1990 NFL season was the 71st regular season of the National Football League. To increase revenue, the league, for the first time since , reinstated bye weeks, so that all NFL teams would play their 16-game schedule over a 17-week period. Furthermore, the playoff format was expanded from 10 teams to 12 teams by adding another wild card from each conference, thus adding two more contests to the postseason schedule; this format was modified with realignment in 2002 (increasing the division spots per conference from three to four, and decreasing the wild card spots per conference from three to two) before the playoffs expanded to 14 teams in 2020. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. In American football, a touchdown is worth six points and is followed by an extra point or two-point conversion attempt. Clearwater High School (CHS) is a four-year public high school located in Clearwater, Florida, United States. It is part of the Pinellas County School System. The school's athletic teams are known as the ''Tornadoes''. Their colors are crimson and gray, which is also the name of their fight song.
