Hassan Bitar
Hassan Ibrahim Bittar ( ar, حسن ابراهيم بيطار; born 24 May 1985) is a Lebanese former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Starting his senior career at Lebanese Premier League side Tadamon Sour in 2002, Bittar moved to Mabarra in 2007, where he helped his club lift their first ever Lebanese FA Cup ( 2007–08). In 2014 Bittar moved to Ahed, where he won two league titles, a Lebanese Elite Cup, and a Lebanese Super Cup. He retired from football in 2017. Bittar represented Lebanon internationally between 2008 and 2016, playing seven international games for his country. Club career Bittar began his senior career at Lebanese Premier League club Tadamon Sour, in 2002–03. The Lebanese goalkeeper remained at Tadamon for five seasons, before moving to Mabarra in 2007. Lebanon National Football Team
The Lebanon national football team,french: Équipe du Liban de football controlled by the Lebanese Football Association (LFA), have represented Lebanon in association football since their inception in 1933. The squad is governed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) continentally, and FIFA worldwide. While Lebanon have yet to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, they have qualified three times to the AFC Asian Cup: they first participated in 2000, when they hosted the event. 2007–08 Lebanese Premier League
The Lebanese Premier League 2007/08 season is the 47th season in the Lebanese Premier League. The Championship was decided on the final matchday, when Al-Ansar and Nejmeh tied each other 1–1 while Al Ahed defeated Tadamon Sour 2–1 to win its first championship title. Striker Mohammed Ghaddar from Nejmeh won the top scorer award, having found the net 22 times. Due to the 2008 unrest in Lebanon, the games where postponed for one month. Thus the league finished in June 2008 instead of May 2008 as scheduled. The Al-Manar Football Festival () was an event organised by the Al-Manar television station between the 1996–97 and 2018–19 seasons in order to award players, managers, referees and teams who were considered to have performed the best over the previous Lebanese Premier League season.
