Harvey Films (also known as Harvey Entertainment, The Harvey Entertainment Company or simply Harvey) is the production arm of comic book publisher Harvey Comics. It was a family business formed in the 1940s and was founded in 1957. In the early 1960s, they created Harvey Funnies, the original entertainment company to produce ''The New Casper Cartoon Show''. Currently, Harvey Films is owned by DreamWorks Classics, formerly Classic Media, which is owned by DreamWorks Animation, which is also owned by NBCUniversal all owned by Comcast. Harvey Films v. Columbia Pictures On October 28, 1986, Harvey Films had a lawsuit with Columbia Pictures claiming that the logo for the film ''Ghostbusters'' was similar to the logo for '' The Ghostly Trio'', specifically the ghost in the logo was similar to ''Fatso'', and Columbia argued that ''Fatso'' was only a portion of their, at the time, renewed trademark, and there were three ghosts instead of just one. The Baby Huey Show
''The Baby Huey Show'' is an animated television series which ran in syndication during the 1994–95 and 1995-96 TV seasons. The show featured the Famous Studios/Harvey Comics character Baby Huey. 26 episodes were produced by combining old theatrical Famous Studios cartoons and new made for TV shorts. These were the first Baby Huey cartoons since the 1959 theatrical cartoon ''Huey's Father's Day''. Huey was voiced by Sid Raymond, reprising his role from the original Famous shorts. The first season was produced by Carbunkle Cartoons, a company which did animation on selected episodes of ''The Ren and Stimpy Show'' for seasons one and two. Each episode usually consisted of a new 8 minute short followed by two classic Harveytoons (the first featuring Herman and Katnip and the second featuring Baby Huey) and a clip from another classic Harveytoon. Casper's First Christmas
''Casper's First Christmas'' is a 1979 animated Christmas television special and crossover produced by Hanna-Barbera. It features Casper the Friendly Ghost and his friend Hairy Scarey from the animated series '' Casper and the Angels''. The special features guest stars Yogi Bear, Boo-Boo, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, Quick Draw McGraw, and Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy. It aired on NBC on December 18, 1979. The theme song, "Comin' Up Christmas Time," sung by Yogi's pals was used again a year later in ''Yogi's First Christmas'', depicting a different premise in which Yogi and Boo Boo (who, being bears are supposed to be hibernating in the winter) can be seen celebrating Christmas with the other cast members. ''The New Casper Cartoon Show'' is a 1963-1970 animated television series that appeared on ABC's Saturday morning schedule, based on the Harvey Comics cartoon character Casper the Friendly Ghost. Casper's co-stars included his friends from the Harvey Comics stories: Wendy the Good Little Witch, the Ghostly Trio, Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost, and the ghost horse Nightmare.
