Haru's Journey

The film stars Tatsuya Nakadai as Tadao, the lead actor; Eri Tokunaga as Haru, the lead actress; Hideji Ōtaki as Shigeo Kanamoto (Tadao's brother); Teruyuki Kagawa as Shinichi Tsuda (Haru's father); Naho Toda as Nobuko Tsuda (Shinichi's wife). Masahiro Kobayashi (director)
was a Japanese film director. Career Kobayashi became the first Japanese filmmaker to win the Grand Prize at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. In its wake, he founded Monkey Town Productions and made three films back to back which won prizes in three consecutive years at Cannes: '' Kaizokuban Bootleg Film'' (1999) and ''Man Walking on Snow'' (2001) in Un Certain Regard and ''Koroshi'' (2000) in the Directors' Fortnight. is a Japanese film actor. Hideji Ōtaki
was a Japanese actor. He has served as President of the Mingei Theatre Company. Career After serving in World War II, he became interested in the theater and helped found the Gekidan Mingei troupe in 1950. He gained fame for his television work from the 1970s, but he also appeared in many films, especially those of Juzo Itami. His last film, ''Anata e'', starring Ken Takakura, was released a few months before his death. He died of lung cancer at his home in Tokyo on 2 October 2012. Yūko Tanaka
is a Japanese actress from Osaka Prefecture, Japan. She has won several acting awards during a long career working in both film and television, after she graduated from Meiji University. Life and career Early career At the beginning of her career in 1979, Tanaka had a leading role in the NHK TV drama series and she also voiced the role of Judy in the Fuji Television anime movie , based on the novel by Jean Webster, which was broadcast in October 1979. His grandmother is the film actress Sanae Takasugi.
