Darren Hart (born 1991), better known as Harts, is an Indian-Australian musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer and music producer from Melbourne, Australia. He composes, produces and records his own music in his bedroom studio. Harts' music has been described as dance-oriented alternative rock and electronic indie, blending elements of funk, post-disco, psychedelic rock, soul, jazz, new romanticism, and blues. Harts is a census-designated place (CDP) at the mouth of Big Harts Creek in Lincoln County, West Virginia, United States, situated along the Guyandotte River. As of the 2010 census, its population was 656. Harts is a part of the Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The Harts CDP includes the unincorporated communities of Harts, Atenville, Ferrellsburg, and Sand Creek. Geography Harts is located in southern Lincoln County at (38.030643, -82.128147). West Virginia Route 10 passes through the center of the community, following the Guyandotte River. The highway leads northwest (downstream) to Huntington and southeast (upstream) to Chapmanville. According to the United States Census Bureau, the Harts CDP has a total area of , of which are land and , or 1.44%, are water. The census area includes both Big Harts Creek and Little Harts Creek. Harts Stores (Hart's Family Center) was a regional general merchandise chain in the midwestern United States, headquartered for many years in Columbus, Ohio. History In 1954, Big Bear Stores Co., Columbus, OH based supermarket chain purchased Harts Stores, a department store that was operating at the time in the basements of two Big Bears. Harts experienced rapid growth, as Big Bear often opened grocery stores along with a Harts Department Store in an adjacent space as well as many free-standing locations usually vacated by other department stores. At its peak in the late 1980s, there were a total of 29 Harts Stores, but towards the end of 1990, the company decided to favor the Big Bear Plus store format over the Harts general merchandise format and started to slowly shutter or convert all remaining Harts locations. Harts Bluff Independent School District (HBISD) is a public school district in Titus County, Texas (USA). Named after the Harts Bluff Farm to Market Road, the district is surrounded by the Mount Pleasant Independent School District. It serves a section of the Mount Pleasant city limits. HBISD's single campus, Harts Bluff Elementary, serves students in grades kindergarten through ninth. The district also maintains Harts Bluff Early College High School. Harts Hill
Harts Hill railway station was a station on the Oxford-Worcester-Wolverhampton Line. It was opened in 1895 by a GWR keen to invest in what was perceived to be the lucrative passenger area of the Black Country, and it was intended to serve the communities between Brierley Hill and Dudley. It closed, like many passenger stations, in 1917 due to the First World War, but was consequently never reopened when the passengers failed to materialise. Two railways/routes served the station - originally the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway and the South Staffordshire Railway, which later became the Great Western Railway and London, Midland and Scottish Railway (through amalgamation of the London and North Western Railway) respectively. There are no remaining signs of the station, and the road from which it was accessed has long since been widened to create a dual carriageway. Harts Range is a town in the Northern Territory of Australia located on the Plenty Highway by road northeast of Alice Springs. Most of its population are of Aboriginal descent, residing in the nearby community of Atitjere. Since 1947, each year an annual racing meet has been held at the Harts Range Racecourse on the Picnic Day long weekend. The event has grown to include rodeo, novelty, and family events in a three-day festival known as the "Harts Range Bush Sports Weekend". Harts River
The Harts River ( af, Hartsrivier) is a northern tributary of the Vaal River, which in turn is the largest tributary of the Orange River (also known as the Gariep River, the largest river in South Africa). Its source is in the North West Province, but the greater part of its basin is located in the Northern Cape Province, which it enters a few kilometers downstream from the Taung Dam. The Harts forms a natural boundary for the Ghaap Plateau, located between the Harts River and the Kuruman Hills.
