Harry Tanfield
Harry Tanfield (born 17 November 1994) is a British cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . Career From Great Ayton in Yorkshire, England, Tanfield rode for in 2015 and in 2016, before joining for the 2017 season. At the British National Track Championships, Tanfield finished third as part of the men's team pursuit and second in the men's omnium. He won a Silver medal in the Commonwealth Games in the Men's Individual Time Trial. On 3 May 2018 he won the opening stage of the Tour de Yorkshire road race, from Beverley to Doncaster. Later in May, Tanfield won consecutive rounds of the Tour Series criterium competition in Aberystwyth and Stevenage, and was part of the team that won the series overall. Great Ayton
Great Ayton is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England. The River Leven (a tributary of the River Tees) flows through the village, which lies just north of the North York Moors. Tour Series
The Tour Series is an annual series of cycling criterium races held in the United Kingdom since 2009. It is televised by ITV4 in the UK. The competition emphasises team effort with individual wins deemed less important. The races are held over 1 hour of racing plus 5 laps. The team standings for each round are calculated by adding together the positions of the top three riders of each team (5 riders start for each team) and the team with the lowest score wins, and get 10 points for the overall championship. Each team gets 1 point less than the one in front of them, so second gets 9, third gets 8, and so on. In addition, there is the sprint competition. There are three sprints every race, and the top five riders are awarded points based on place: 1st, 5; 2nd, 4; 3rd, 3; 4th, 2 and 5th, 1. The British National Circuit Race Championships cover several different categories of British road bicycle racing events, normally held annually. The first championships were held in 1979 for professional cyclists only. Amateur championships were introduced in 1993 but only 3 of these were held as the amateur and professional championships were combined into an open event in 1996. Charles Tanfield (born 17 November 1996) is a British Track & Road Cycle sport, racing cyclist, who rides for UCI Continental team Saint Piran (cycling team). He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the Team pursuit, Mens Team Pursuit.
