Harry Higgs
Harry Higgs (born December 4, 1991) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Higgs was born in Camden, New Jersey on December 4, 1991. He grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. His parents are Mike and Denise Higgs. Amateur career He played his high school golf at Blue Valley North High School in Overland Park, Kansas and his college golf for the SMU Mustangs. Professional career Higgs played on PGA Tour Latinoamérica in 2015 and 2018. He won the Diners Club Peru Open in 2018 and led the Order of Merit, securing a tour card on the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour. Higgs won the Price Cutter Charity Championship on the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour. This led him to a 5th-place finish in the regular season standings, which earned him his tour card for the 2019–20 PGA Tour season. He finished second at the Bermuda Championship in November 2019. The Fortinet Championship, previously the Safeway Open, is a professional golf tournament, part of the PGA Tour. Originally sponsored by Fry's Electronics, it was first staged in 2007 as the Fry's Electronics Open at Grayhawk Golf Club's Raptor Course in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was renamed to the Frys.com Open in 2008 and moved to California in 2010, to CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, southeast of San Jose. __NOTOC__ This is a list of golfers who graduated from the Korn Ferry Tour and Korn Ferry Tour Finals in 2019. The top 25 players on the Korn Ferry Tour's regular-season points list in 2019 earned PGA Tour cards for 2020. The Finals, which concluded on September 2, determined the other 25 players to earn PGA Tour cards and the initial priority order of all 50. As in previous seasons, the Finals featured the top 75 players on the Korn Ferry Tour regular season points list, players ranked 126–200 on the PGA Tour's regular-season FedEx Cup points list (except players exempt through other means), non-members of the PGA Tour with enough regular-season FedEx Cup points to place 126–200, and special medical exemptions. Aruba Cup
The Aruba Cup was an annual team golf competition between teams representing PGA Tour Latinoamérica and PGA Tour Canada. It was founded in 2016 and took place in December. The 2016 and 2017 events were held at the Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa & Country Club near Noord, Aruba. In 2018 the event was played at Cozumel Country Club on the island of Cozumel in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula and was called the Cozumel Cup. Format The teams consisted of 10 golfers from each tour. The tournament was played over three days with 5 fourball matches on the first day, 5 foursomes on the second day and 10 singles matches on the final day. One point was awarded for each win and a half point for a halved match. With a total of 20 points, a team needed to get 10.5 points to win the Cup. The Players Championship
The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as The PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf ($20 million). The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but unlike the major championships and World Golf Championships events, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours. The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. It is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. Steve Wheatcroft
Steven John Wheatcroft (born February 21, 1978) is an American professional golfer. Wheatcroft was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, grew up in Washington, Pennsylvania, and attended Indiana University earning a degree in Sports Marketing and Management. He turned professional in 2001 and has played in several tours over the years. His first victory came at the Pennsylvania Open Championship in 2003. He is currently a member of the PGA Tour. In his 2006 Nationwide Tour debut season, Wheatcroft recorded only one top-10 and missed the cut 12 times. Despite his difficulties, he would perform well at the PGA Tour Q-School. He finished 7th to earn his card for 2007. He would make only 10 cuts out of 25 attempts and post one top 25. Consequently, he lost his card.
