Carl Harrison High School, commonly known as Harrison High School or simply Harrison is a grades 9- 12 public high school in Kennesaw, Georgia, United States. History The school was named for Carl J. Harrison, a member of the Cobb County Board of Education, a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, elected in 1975, and later a Senator in the Georgia State Senate, elected in 1983. The 2011 movie, " The 5th Quarter", was based off of true events that occurred in 2006, in which a member of Harrison High School's lacrosse team was killed in a car accident due to careless driving from classmates. Sports and clubs Music The Harrison High School Marching Band took part in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2009 and 2016. Joseph T. Bendik (born April 25, 1989) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. Club career Clemson Bendik grew up in Marietta, Georgia and attended Clemson University for four years after graduating from Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia. Eric Patterson (baseball)
Eric Scott Patterson (born April 8, 1983) is an American former professional baseball left fielder and second baseman. Patterson made his MLB debut with the Chicago Cubs on August 6, 2007. He was the head coach of the Gwinnett Tides in the Sunbelt Baseball League. Patterson is currently the assistant hitting coach for the South Bend Cubs. Donald Corey Patterson (born August 13, 1979) is an American former professional baseball center fielder. Currently, he is the manager of the Brookhaven Bucks in the Sunbelt Baseball League. Jeffery Adam Everett (born February 5, 1977), is an American former professional baseball shortstop and third baseman. Bradford James Cox (born May 15, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the indie rock band Deerhunter. He also pursues a solo career under the moniker Atlas Sound. Cox formed Deerhunter with drummer Moses Archuleta in 2001. The band has released 7 studio albums along with several singles and EPs.
