Harold Miller (bishop)
Harold Creeth Miller (born 23 February 1950) is a retired Irish Anglican bishop. He served as bishop of the Diocese of Down and Dromore in the Church of Ireland. Coming from a Methodist background, he was elected bishop in 1997 and was considered to represent an evangelical position within the Church. Ordained ministry Miller was ordained in the Church of Ireland as a deacon in 1976 and as a priest in 1977. From 1976 to 1979, he served his curacy at Saint Nicholas' Church, Carrickfergus, Belfast, in the Diocese of Connor. He then moved to England, where he was director of extension studies and chaplain of St John's College, Nottingham between 1979 and 1984. He returned to Belfast, and was a chaplain at Queen's University Belfast from 1984 to 1989. In 1989, he returned to parish ministry having been appointed Rector of the Carrigrohane Union of Parishes in the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross. He was also a Canon of Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral (Cork Cathedral) from 1994 to 1997. ...

Harold Sydney Miller (20 May 1902 – 24 October 1988) was an English footballer who played between the wars. An inside-forward, Miller's first professional club were Charlton Athletic, whom he joined from amateurs St Albans City. Miller made 20 appearances for Charlton, scoring 11 times. He won a solitary cap for England, which came against Sweden on 24 May 1923. Miller scored in this match as England won 3–1. Harold "Hal" Miller is an American actor, comedian, painter, singer, lyricist and poet. He was the second actor to play Gordon Robinson on ''Sesame Street'' from 1972 to 1974, succeeding Matt Robinson. Early life Miller lived most of his early life in Harlem, New York. He was raised a Catholic with early education in parochial school and a final degree in chemistry, assisting in research with chemist Dr. Casimir Funk, an early discoverer of vitamins who helped coin the word "vitamin" in Paris in 1911. Before pursuing a career as an actor, Miller worked with Funk and was published with him in ''Federation Proceedings'' Vol. 22 No. 2 (Abstracts) in the 1960s at the Funk Foundation for Medical Research sponsored by Pfizer in New York. USCGC ''Harold Miller'' (WPC-1138) is the United States Coast Guard's 38th cutter. Like her sister ships she was built in the Bollinger Shipyards, in Lockport, Louisiana. Design Like her sister ships, ''Harold Miller'' is designed to perform search and rescue missions, port security, and the interception of smugglers. She is armed with a remotely-controlled, gyro-stabilized 25 mm autocannon, four crew served M2 Browning machine guns, and light arms. She is equipped with a stern launching ramp, that allows her to launch or retrieve a water-jet propelled high-speed auxiliary boat, without first coming to a stop. Her high-speed boat has over-the-horizon capability, and is useful for inspecting other vessels, and deploying boarding parties. The crew's drinking water needs are met through a desalination unit.
