Harold G. Chaffee
Harold George Chaffee (June 6, 1926 – October 6, 2020) was an American college football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska, from 1969 to 1981, compiling a record of 55–61–2. As a player, Chaffee was a quarterback at Colorado State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts—now known as Colorado State University—in the late 1940s. Littleton is a home rule municipality city located in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Jefferson counties, Colorado, United States. United States Naval Construction Battalions, better known as the Navy Seabees, form the U.S. Naval Construction Force (NCF). The Seabee nickname is a heterograph of the initial letters "CB" from the words "Construction Battalion". Depending upon context, "Seabee" can refer to all enlisted personnel in the USN's occupational field 7 (OF-7), all personnel in the Naval Construction Force (NCF), or Construction Battalion. Seabees serve both in and outside the NCF. During World War II they were plankowner, plank-holders of both the Naval Combat Demolition Units and the Underwater Demolition Teams (UDTs).
