Harold C. Deutsch
Harold Charles Deutsch (June 7, 1904 – May 15, 1995) was an American military historian who focused on World War II. During the Second World War, he served as head of research for the Office of Strategic Services. Life Deutsch was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (B.A., M.A.) and Harvard University (M.A., Ph.D.). In Europe he studied at the University of Paris, the University of Vienna and the University of Berlin. He was a professor of history at the University of Minnesota. World War II
World War II or the Second World War, often abbreviated as WWII or WW2, was a world war that lasted from 1939 to 1945. It involved the vast majority of the world's countries—including all of the great powers—forming two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis powers.
