Harjeeta
''Harjeeta'' is a 2018 Indian Punjabi-language sports-drama film written by Jagdeep Sidhu and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. Co-produced by Sizzlen Productions, Malika Productions, Omjee Group, and Villagers Film Studio; it stars Ammy Virk, Sawan Rupowali, Sameep Ranaut, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film chronicles the story of Harjeet Singh, a field hockey player raised from poor family and captained Indian team in Junior World Cup. The film was released on 18 May 2018. The film got positive reviews from critics but was a commercially unsuccessful. ''Harjeeta'' won two National Film Awards for Best Punjabi Film and Best Child Actor (Ranaut). Sameep Ranaut
Sameep Singh Ranaut is an Indian actor from Punjab. He is best known for his child roles as young Harjeet Singh in ''Harjeeta'' and Gagan in '' Uda Aida''. He also won Best Child Artist award at 66th National Film Awards for his debut role in ''Harjeeta''. Career Ranaut made his acting debut with the film ''Harjeeta'' (2018). He did not give any auditions for the film in fact he was discovered by Sawan Rupowali playing hockey where she recorded Ranaut's audition clip. Ammy Virk
Amninderpal Singh Virk, better known as Ammy Virk, is an Indian singer, actor and producer associated with Punjabi Music and subsequently in Punjabi and Hindi films. He started the production house Villagers Film Studio and a distribution company In House Group. He is best known for playing the role of Nikka in ''Nikka Zaildar'' series, Shivjit in ''Qismat & Qismat 2'', Harjeet Singh in '' Harjeeta'', and Haakam in ''Angrej''. Mannat Noor
Kelmash Devi, better known as Mannat Noor, (born 10 December 1991) is an Indian singer singing primarily in the Punjabi language. She has sung songs for films including ''Laung Laachi'', '' Carry On Jatta 2'', ''Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'' and National Award winning '' Harjeeta''. Her song Laung Laachi is the first Indian song to reach 1 billion views on YouTube. Amberdeep Singh is an Indian actor, director, screenwriter and producer associated with Punjabi films.
